Our Leadership Team...

oOfsWF2b   Ross Maynard - Associate Pastor

Ross is our associate pastor. He is passionate about making a difference and seeing lives transformed by Jesus. He oversees Fuse, the 18 to 30s ministry, at Mutley and has a heart to see this group become an open, authentic and loving community centred on Jesus. Ross loves ‘doing church’ differently, thinking critically about faith and journeying with people through the messiness of life. More formally, he recently finished his masters in Applied Theology at Oxford university and previously completed his undergraduate in Theology at the London School of Theology. Less formally, he is passionate about health, sport and fitness, is a coffee snob, gets excited about cooking and loves a good book.

Carol Wiggin - Church Office Team Member
Carol is married to Mark, and they have 4 grown up children – Hazel, Ian, Stef & Joe. She moved to Plymouth from rural Shropshire in 2000, though is in fact a Brummie... She works in the church office on Wednesday afternoons, Thursday and Friday.

  Annie Hortop - Families Worker
I moved to Plymouth in August 1975 as a newly qualified teacher. My first teaching post was in Mary Tavy for a year followed by 5 years at Estover Primary. I took a career break for a few years when my children Matt and Lauren were born. During this time I also helped my late husband Alan set up his own printing business. I returned to teaching in 1987 and ended up teaching at Woodford Primary for 18 years! My decision to take early retirement was a result of several God prompting moments and 10 days after retiring I started working as the Families Pastor here at the church. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren, going to the cinema and theatre, meeting up with friends and much more. I recently turned 60 and am working through projects "on my 60 things to do during my 60's" list!

Fiona Spicer - Pastoral Assistant
After a career in retail, a spell at Bible College, having three amazing children, accompanying her marine biologist husband around the world and living in Canada, Denmark and Sheffield (where’s the sea?) Zoe   Zoe Badmin - Youth Worker
Zoë moved down to Plymouth from Birmingham to do a sport degree at Marjons, and has stayed in the South West ever since. Following her degree, Zoe worked at MBC as a youth development worker, and gave her a passion to see young people and children meet and walk with Jesus. Zoe has also worked with young people within schools and the more deprived areas of Plymouth, before coming back to be the youth worker at MBC once again.
Zoe has two boys, Joel and Daniel. As well as spending time with them, Zoe also enjoys walking their dog, Blaze, playing the saxophone and getting out for a run.

Sheila moved to Plymouth from Scotland in 1990 and now has 2 sons who consider themselves English!  She has been a member of Mutley since then and has been involved with a number of areas of church life, including administration and small groups. Her particular passion is to see people continue to grow in their discipleship irrespective of the length of time they have been a Christian.
